About Me
Hi, my name is Herschel Marcelo and my ethnic background is Filipino, but I'm very proud to be a US citizen now. I am a fifth grader at Herman Intermediate School and I'm enrolled in a program called Adventure Stem which I'm very proud to be a part of. My favorite food is sushi and hamburger. My favorite color is Red. I like to play sports like soccer, basketball, biking, and football, but my most favorite of them all is taekwondo. Like many other kids like me, I also like indoor activities like drawing, playing video games, playing the piano, and studying. My favorite music to listen to are mine craft parodies and Tobuscus songs. I also like to hang out with my friends in and out of school. I am a person who doesn't want to be late. When I grow up I want to be a doctor, so I always study hard in order for my dreams to come true. My favorite subject is science because it is the most interesting subject and if you think about it everything we do is science. I love doing projects and doing extra credit in class. My goal is to be the best in my class and to be a valedictorian. I also like making a video game and making a website like this one. Once in a while I like to invent stuff and break some of my toys apart just to see how things operate and hope that one day I can help people around the world.

What I'm doing
Science-In science I'm doing two projects. One is this E-portfolio, second is this projects called Eco-house. Eco-house is where you have to make a model of an Eco-friendly house this is important because this will help us realize on how to conserve energy and it is an end of the year project. We have just finish our CST testing so I hope I did a pretty good job.
Math-Recently we have just finished a unit 10 test about coordinate playing. This whole unit we have been learning algebra like making table, graphing, and parenthesis. We recently finished a project were we design our own playground using many types of shapes and I called it "Alien Themed Playground".
Core/Social Studies/Language - In arts right now my class are practicing for a play. My play is called Paul Revere. The play is about a 16 year old girl name Sybil, she wakes up the townsfolk to get ready for battle because the British are burning the Danbury town. I played Sybil's father Colonel Henry Ludington and I fought alongside General Washington and then became one of his generals. The good thing about the play is that I was able to understand the character I'm playing and his impact to our history.
Elective-We are currently doing a mini game for our original game that we previously did. My mini game is about a bunny trying to catch the carrot while the wolf, chocolate, and pizza are trying to stop the bunny from getting the carrot and on my main game you have to find all the missing objects, but be careful some objects will take away a lot of points.
