C-Span Project
You may be wondering why there is a picture of packs of radish seeds, well if you look real closely you might have actually notice the price differences, well this was all apart of my c-span project with my fellow classmates (Hoang-Ha & Sebastian) and we were trying to support GMO's. What are GMO's you say, well in short they are genetically modified food meaning that they took the DNA of a piece of food like a banana and added in some other pieces of DNA for it to better serve its purpose. Some or should I say most people despise GMO's because the think if will affect there health the they don't look at the bigger picture but most experts and scientist say its okay. I for one think GM food is the future since the worlds population is growing and food is becoming more difficult to mass produce and to feed the people. The reason why I chose this project was because I strongly believe in this debate if GMO's should stay or should they be taken away forever and maybe showing this gives me a voice in this debate.
The project basically said to my team and I that we needed to find an issue about the world and we would have to create a video for our final product. Now this world issue has to be something that we were passionate about and so we agreed upon food. Now we have to have the mindset of creating this like we were going to show this to the government so it had to be professional and serious. GMO is a really big problem and needs to be discussed more especially with the ever growing population. Since we were talking about GMO's my partner and I both went to a plant nursery and this was the first project that I took so go out and do something like this for my project and I was really excited to do something like this because I can explore and the overall product is better. Over-all this was the project that was the biggest project in this class and the one I put the most effort.
