Elective

In elective we created a game. We use the site called globaloria. For you to make a game you need to have adobe flash. Recently I just finished coding for my mini game.

 

My mini game is about a bunny and there is a carrot going around the place and the bunny needs to catch it, but there is a wolf trying to catch the rabbit and if they touch you will loose a lot of points and there is chocolate and pizza are trying to catch the bunny. On my main game (Arachnid) it's about finding a hidden object. You have to find all the bugs in the game but be careful there are bugs that take away points. None of these are easy it's actually very difficult because most of these are all new to me and I needed to understand quick.This is probably one of the most interesting I ever done not to mention very challenging. I guess this is what makes the Adventure stem program is all about because it will always bring out the best in you at all times.

 

REFLECTION: Globaloria is an award-winning K–12 learning platform MOOC featuring courses to teach students to design, prototype, and code educational web/mobile games and simulations with industry-standard technology as a means of learning content and creative innovation skills. This is a good website for students to collaborate and put their minds to critical thinking. In order to do this you really need to pay a lot of attention or your game otherwise it would not come out the way you wanted it to be. Learning how to design was very tough, but as I started designing my own games I've learned how to follow and understand each imstuctions carefully. But that was just the start I had to come up on what type of games I needed to design and how the games will be play. I guess you really have to put your mind together because there's so much you have to incorporate on the games that one small mistakes can be crucial. It really put your mind to test and that's what I like about it.
