What I do

I go to a school called Herman Intermediate School at Oak Grove school district and I'm enrolled at a program called Adventure Stem. At adventure you get to do so many awesome stuff like doing big projects and in science you get to do fun experiments. As you see in the picture, this program specializes in technology so you will be working with computers a lot. If you are an adventure student you will learn many new things.

 

If you get into the adventure stem program they will push you to the limit in other words they will the best out of you. Here's some of the things we do in clas like doing three projects in the same week in addition to the homeworks, so this is more like an advance class. If you get picked to go to adventure they will bring out the best in you because they put you through so many challenges in other word they want maximum effort from each student, so it's a great privileged to go there. So far, I'm doing very good in class but I must admit it was very tough at the beginning.

Mission:

Adventures mission is to engage all students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through relevant, rigorous curriculum so they will be responsible, active, global citizens in the digital age. Adventure has a culture of high expectations where students form safe and strong relationships with teachers, peers, families, and the community.

Goals:

100% of our students proficient or advanced on CST.
100% of our students graduate from institutions of higher education.
