 geniusHour

This has been one of my favourite projects of all times because of how crazy this was to make, this has filled one of my dreams of making a robot because I wanted to do this for so long and I finally got the opportunity to do so. This is what I like to call the glow bot from one of my forvorite types of project called genius hour where you can create anything you want but you have to be passionate about it and I was very passionate about robotics.

This glow but will be remembered and a very big accomplishment in my life knowing I can create something like this. This glow bot run on two double AA batteries and moves by two DC motors which is how it moves, now you might be thinking that this the only thing it can do but actually it can do much more that just run in straight lines, There are two SPDT switches that are connected to two paperclip antennas switches. Now when the antennas hit a wall they will press on the SPDT switches that will reverse the direction the DC motors are running, because the motors are DC they can run forward and back. You can think of this as one of those toys called hex bugs where it would hit a wall and then go back but it would only go in area but this one can go everywhere.

This is also one of my most difficult projects of my life because this took so much time to create especially when I had to how everything gets wired, also I didn't use any guides on how this was built so I made this how I think it would look. You might see this exact project out there on how to make this but what makes mine extra special is that it has LED's connected to the front and and back which is why I called it a glow bug because it has LED's as eyes and a flashing LED in the back. This made it more difficult because I had to wire this into the already existing circuit. This was an amazing project because I was able to built this and was one of my goals .
